THE ANCIENT DAGGER MAKES THE TREE

This week I dreamt that I was given an ancient dagger made of wood. I didn't appreciate the value of it until people kept trying to steal it. They were violent and would not stop at anything to take it. Because of this, even though I didn't understand its value at the time, I made sure they did not take it from me.

I began to ask myself "what is so special about this dagger?" As if the Lord could read my thoughts, I heard a voice from the heavens within the dream, say: "the dagger is what makes your family tree".

Immediately I saw a dream within a dream. I saw the dagger split into many splinters. Then those splinters reassembled themselves into a beautiful, strong oak tree. It represented my family tree, generations before and to come. I was a part of this tree.

When I woke and asked the Lord about this, he said: "The warrior spirit is a part of your inheritance. Not just you - but everyone has this inheritance! " If the enemy can make us believe that we do not have this generational blessing, it can be thwarted. How does the enemy do that?

By making you give up the fight! When you give up, you hand over your God-given authority as a kingdom warrior. For those of you who might be experiencing the 'chase' right now, you might be feeling like something is being stolen, I want to remind you today: YOU ARE A WARRIOR.

This calling is rightfully given to you and is yours. It's part of you. YOU WERE BORN A WARRIOR. Hold on with all you have because it's bigger than you. You are a part of something bigger - and when you truly have a revelation that this is yours, it will grow beyond you. This is not just about you, it's about the generations!

For those of you who feel you do not have any more fight left- this is another tactic of the enemy to give up what is rightfully yours. Stand strong, stand tall, so that you and the generations after you can become the oaks of righteousness that you are destined to be. This is what "the ancient dagger makes the tree" means. You standing in your warrior anointing affects the generations. Rise up Oh warrior- you were actually born for such a time as this!

Is 61:3-4 They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.
